I discovered this podcast earlier this year and it was on blast as I binged earlier episodes during my commute to work, while washing dishes or preparing dinner. The creators, the Love Jays, are as the title implies, married millennials who aren't shy when it comes to discussing hot topics. The conversation is organic and oftentimes, listeners experience tangents launching them into unexpected discussions about current events, taboos, their dreams, etc. This dynamic duo lifts the veil, does marriage their own way, and gives insight into the beautiful struggles that give way to amazing growth for them as individuals and as a couple. I haven't met Joy or Justin but I get the sense that they are the type people everyone needs in their corner.

Joy publishes a Weekly Wellness Newsletter that addresses all aspects of a person's well-being with savings challenges to get your finances on target and health challenges to align your Chakras. She is an introverted, empath whose love for sci-fi runs deep. Justin embodies Purpose Over Profit as a public speaker to the masses. He is fun-loving and business-minded with a no-nonsense approach to systematically achieving his goals. Above all else, their resounding messages are to always assume good intentions, consider that we don't know what we don't know, and seek to understand before being understood. Each episode invokes deep, belly-rumbling laughter, a conviction for the spirit, nostalgia, a check of the ego/coveted privilege, and a reminder that there is so much more to consider when it comes to "this thing called life."

I'm becoming a lot more conscious of my diet as it pertains to the food I consume, the music I listen to, the people I spend time with, and especially the corresponding energy I ingest/exchange as a result of all of these things. That being said, I highly recommend the Married Millennials podcast to everyone, regardless of your relationship status, age, zodiac and birth chart, beliefs, or working paradigms. Tune in every Tuesday for new episodes on the Podcast app, Google Play, and Stitcher.  Follow them on Instagram @lovejaysofficial (along with TTBD @thoughfuldozen while you're at it) and find them on Facebook as Love Jays. Check out their website, lovejays.com, to learn more about them.
